This guiding affirmation lies at the heart of The Benjamins Foundation: working to create a better world for our children in Australia, Israel, Mexico and Colombia.

There are numerous references to this in the Old Testament and other biblical literature. These focus on the responsibility of parents and grandparents to teach, guide and leave a spiritual legacy for their descendants.

The family behind The Benjamins Foundation can trace its heritage to the Tribe of Benjamin, one of the 12 Tribes of Israel. Although the smallest of the Tribes, it was also regarded as the fiercest. Its namesake, Benjamin, was the son of Jacob, who is revered by all three Abrahamic faiths.

"Although the smallest of the Tribes, it was also regarded as the fiercest."
